The Okaloosa County Clerk of Court’s office is pleased to announce Jennifer Falk as the new Chief of Personnel Services. Jennifer has been promoted from Training Coordinator to Chief of Personnel Services by the Honorable Brad E. Embry.

 

As the Chief of Personnel Services, Jennifer will oversee the Human Resources Department, Procurement, and Training functions for the Clerk & Comptroller. She is responsible for daily administration, managerial direction, resources management, and coordination with related departments and County offices. Jennifer plays a vital leadership role in fostering a positive workplace culture that encourages teamwork, employee engagement, open communication, and collaboration across all departments.

 

Jennifer has been with the Okaloosa County Clerk’s office for three years as the Training Coordinator, building the program curriculum from the ground up. Jennifer spent seven years at the Walton County Sheriff’s Office as the Human Resources Manager, where she implemented HR best practices, collaborated with leadership on strategies, development plans, performance management, and employee engagement. She also spent three years at the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office as an HR Generalist, recruiting and onboarding new employees, and ensuring accurate record keeping.

 

Jennifer earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of West Florida. She is in the process of completing a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Columbia Southern University, with an anticipated graduation date of June 2025. She holds certifications as a certified Professional Human Resources through HRCI, a Certified Professional through the Society of Human Resources Management, she is a Certified Public Manager through Florida State University’s Public Management division, is a certified Executive Coach, and is a graduate of Leadership Walton.
